Aidmatrix Trains Oklahoma Office of Emergency Management on National Donations Management Network

Aidmatrix has been working with the State of Oklahoma Emergency Services and the State Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) and our other nonprofit partners in the area, from Food Banks to Pet Shelters, lending our support as assessments were made and needs emerged from the top-of-the-scale EF-5 tornado, with winds over 200 mph, that hit Moore, OK on May 20, 2013. Aidmatrix had multiple deployments to help the relief efforts in Moore. From helping on the front lines serving food, to providing additional NDMN training for new staff, to helping load information into the National Donations Management Network – we were there to help as we could. During these times, coordination of relief efforts is critical so that the right aid is delivered where it is needed most. Relief efforts, as well as long-term recovery efforts, are ongoing.
