Microsoft US CIO Summit

The past few days, I have had the pleasure of representing Aidmatrix at Microsoft’s US CIO Summit, held at their headquarters.  Leadership from over 350 of Microsoft’s key customers convened in the Seattle area to learn about Microsoft’s future technology direction, ways to optimize their enterprises with the latest Microsoft capabilities, and to provide feedback to Microsoft’s executive team on how to continuously improve to better meet the market’s needs.

It’s evident that “The Cloud” and the proliferation of new computing and communication devices is rapidly transforming the way we work, or should be working.  The kind of work we do is also transforming. With data being generated at such a rapidly accelerating pace, and becoming instantly accessible, more and more of our efforts will be spent harnessing and analyzing data rather than creating it.

I have to give special thanks to Artis Consulting’s Thad Chapman.  Thad also serves as President of the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter of the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (of which Aidmatrix is a member).  Thad was instrumental in helping me bring into the Aidmatrix ranks additional Microsoft business leaders, committed to using their technology and skills to make a difference.  These new Aidmatrix Ambassadors will be instrumental in our efforts to deliver transforming solutions for the social sector.
