Gulf Coast States Prepare for Isaac

Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana offices of emergency services are standing ready to respond to any damage resulting from Tropical Storm Isaac which is expected to hit the region early next week. All the States in the storm's path have preparations in place and participate in the National Donations Management Network®, powered by Aidmatrix, so that they can instantly communicate with the public regarding items needed for the relief efforts. The NDMN program is sponsored by FEMA, Accenture, UPS & the Aidmatrix Foundation and it provides each State with a web portal and tools for managing donation offers online, enabling the relief community to post their needs and the State's office of emergency services to help connect the two. To track these items and provide donated goods to fill these needs, the public can visit www.ndmn.us
